WINE HOUSE NIKOLSBURG MIKULOV
Kotoulková, Leona ; Macháčková, Šárka (referee) ; Dýr, Petr (advisor)
The topic of the diploma thesis is the design of a representative building of the Nikolsburg winery, which decided to get rid of the role of mediator of the grapes supply for another winery to produce its own wine. This building is to house a four-star hotel for thirty people, a tasting room with a view of the barrique barrels, a restaurant for forty people and a small wellness area. This newly designed building is located in the outskirts of Mikulov between the nature reserves Turold and Růžový vrch. The basic concept was created depending on the slope of the terrain and the orientation to the cardinal directions. I also tried my best to take advantage of attractive views and limit the view of the technical zone, which is located southwest of the plot. The façade made of ceramic fittings from the Flexbrick company helps me with this intention. An important expressive element of the building is the division of the last floor with hotel rooms, which are oriented to the surrounding landmarks - Mikulov with the Holy Hill and Růžový vrch.

Fiľová, Alžběta ; Bílek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Dýr, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the design of the new building of the Plchut family winery in Mutěnice. It is based on the architectural study developed earlier in the subject AG032 Studio of Architectural Design II. The proposed building is located on the outskirts of the village of Mutěnice, near the wine cellars of Mutěnické búdy. The building is located in the upper part of the sloping land and is connected to the local road, parking spaces are planned in front of the building. The structure of the winery consists of two elongated single-story parts with a flat roof and two two-story parts using an attic under a sloping roof. The building has no basement, but one part is partially embedded in the slope. Wine production is concentrated in three wings around an enclosed courtyard, with staff facilities and administration in the attic. In the fourth part emerging from this mass, there is a wine shop, a tasting room and in the attic accommodation in two double apartments. The structural system of the object is a wall system. The construction is based on plain concrete footings. The ceiling structures are made of prestressed Spiroll panels with a reinforced concrete ring. The vertical structures are made of masonry from polished Porotherm ceramic blocks, the wall adjacent to the ground is made of monolithic reinforced concrete. The roofing of one-story production buildings consists of a flat single-skin extensive green roof, in two-story buildings a slanted two-skin roof with over-rafter insulation and ceramic roofing, supported by a wooden truss, is used. The production part is clad with a ventilated facade with cladding from Cembrit fiber cement boards, the representative part for visitors is plastered with fine-grained plaster coated with white silicone paint.
